Karen McClellan
Karen was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007. Prior to joining CALC, she articled and continued on as a lawyer at the Community Legal Clinic – Simcoe, Haliburton & Kawartha Lakes where she specialized in advising and representing vulnerable workers in claims for wrongful dismissal and discrimination in the workplace. In 2010, Karen moved to Hong Kong and joined a leading human rights firm there. During her time in Hong Kong, Karen practiced in the areas of human rights, refugee law and discrimination law. Her current work at CALC focuses on worker’s rights including workplace discrimination and Workplace Safety & Insurance Board appeals as well vulnerable workers in precarious employment.
