All content on CALC’s website is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws, and is the property of CALC unless otherwise noted.

Any CALC copyrighted materials can be downloaded and printed for non-commercial or educational use, with credit to CALC. Nothing on this website may be sold or otherwise transmitted for commercial purposes, unless CALC has given prior written permission.

CALC’s website links to content and resources, such as Steps to Justice, that are copyrighted by other organizations. Please read their terms and conditions.

2. Disclaimers

All CALC’s website content is provided as general information and not legal advice. If you need advice about a specific legal problem, contact CALC, or a lawyer or another community legal clinic.

CALC and its partners assume no liability for any damages whatsoever arising out of this website’s use.

4. Social media

CALC currently uses social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, to promote the content on CALC’s website. We only monitor comments and postings periodically during regular business hours, and reserve the right to delete any that we deem offensive in any way and block any offenders. Comments posted on our social media channels do not reflect the opinions of CALC or our funders.

5. Conditions of agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and CALC with respect to the use of this website.

This agreement between you, the user, and CALC, shall be governed by, and interpreted according to the laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada.  You consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario’s courts in any proceeding related to this agreement.
