Inclusive Education Survey

Inclusive Education Survey Flyer

ARCH Disability Law Centre, in partnership with Community Living Ontario, Inclusive Education Canada, the University of Western Ontario, and Brock University, is announcing the launch of new research titled “If Inclusion Means Everyone, Why Not Me?” They are currently conducting a survey on the experiences of students with intellectual disabilities in Ontario’s public school system. The focus of this survey is on many of the current practices and barriers related to inclusive education.

If you wish to participate, please complete a short survey that asks questions about your child’s experiences in school. The survey will take 20-30 minutes to complete. You will have a month to complete the survey on the same computer. Once it has been submitted, you cannot redo the survey. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Amina Patel, Assistant Project Coordinator, Community Development, Community Living Ontario at 416-447-4348 ext. 241 or Amina@communitylivingontario.ca.

Go to https://uwo.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe6/form/SV_250xUkF2YLFV0rj to complete the survey.

Free Dental Services for Low-Income Families

January 30, 2017:  More than 380 low-income families and individuals across a broad area of eastern Ontario, including the Quinte Region, will receive free dental care thanks to some one-time provincial funding.

Over the next few months, each of the five Community Health Centres across the area served by the Southeast Local Health Integrated Network will be able to provide 81 patients with dentures, and offer more than 300 clients greater access to specialized dental services.

There will be funding for the Belleville Quinte West CHC and Gateway in Tweed.  You do not need to be a member of a CHC in order to qualify, but do need to meet eligibility criteria set by the program.

See this Quinte News article for more details or contact your local Community Health Centre.
